June Update

Hello Everyone:
I hope this note finds you well. A few things to update:
* Congratulations to our grade 7 students who received the Sacrament of Confirmation this past Saturday. Our students did a great job preparing and a big thank you to Holy Spirit under the direction Mrs. Main and Fr. Tad for their efforts in the preparation
* Our grade 3 and 6 students completed their provincial assessments last week. Our kids worked very hard!
* Our grade 8 students had a fantastic grad trip to Kamp Kandalore last week. They experienced our great Canadian outdoors and represented our school community exceptionally well. Thank you to Mrs. Van Wolde, Mrs. Dominquez, Mr. MacLeod and Mr. McParland for organizing and chaperoning the trip.
* The last pizza day for our students will be Wednesday, June 21. Our last milk day will be Friday, June 23.
* Kindergarten registration is on-going. If you or someone you know has a child ready to attend junior kindergarten, please contact our office. Thanks.
* If your family is moving and will not be attending St. Catherine of Siena in the fall, please contact our office. Having this information greatly assists with our planning for next year. Thank you.
* Our next SWEET Day is scheduled for Thursday, June 15. We have dozens of activities for our kids to select from. This activity is designed to reach out to all our students - "we all belong at St. Cat's".
* Grade 8 graduation is scheduled for Thursday, June 22 at 6:30 pm here at school.
* Achievement report cards go home on Monday, June 26
* Our year end Mass is scheduled for Thursday, June 29 at 10:30 am. All members of our community are welcome! The Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Parish on Essa Road.
* June 29 is the last school day for students.
There are a number of "field trips" scheduled for this month that I have not included in this e-blast. Teaching staff will share those details with you as the date of the trip approaches.
