A Brief Update

Hello Everyone:
I hope this note finds you well on this Friday morning.
A few things to share:
* Please check our website for new stories about happenings at our school.
* "Sleeping Children Around the World" - an incredible effort. Our students raised enough money to purchase 101 bedkits....our staff donated enough money to buy 12 bedkits and our CSCC donated enough money to purchase 29 bedkits...for a total of 143 bedkits! (please see our website for more).
* Our next CSCC meeting is Monday, Feb. 27 at 6:30 pm. Our trustee, Mrs. Maria Hardie will join us at this meeting.
* Grade 1-3 Poetry Recital - Feb. 28 from 11:15 am - 12:30 pm for selected students.
* Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. We will have a liturgy led by Mrs. Sellers/Sponagle's JK/SKs and Mr. McCracken's grade 6 students. It will begin at approximately 9:15 am next Wednesday, March 1 here in our gymnasium. Please know you are welcome to join us.
* Grade 8 Parent Information Evening will happen on Monday, March 6 at 5 pm. This meeting will be devoted to two topics - grade 8 grad and the grade 8 year end trip to Kamp Kandalore. (this is the meeting postponed by the snow day on Feb. 13).
* S.W.E.E.T Day - our next super wicked epic electives time will be on the afternoon of Friday, March 10 for students in grades 1 - 8. Several activities will be offered to our students to choose from....
* "March Break" - March 13 - 17
Achievement reports went home this past Wednesday. Please take a few minutes to review it with your child. If you have any comments or concerns for staff, please make an appointment to discuss. Our kids are doing tremendously well. Thank you for supporting them so well.
