Welcome Back & Happy New Year!

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year!
I hope the past few weeks turned out the way you each envisioned them to be....and hopefully some good time spent with family and friends.
Our 2017 start up yesterday was particularly busy with 7 new students registering with us. We will make sure that each of these children are made to feel welcomed into our St. Catherine of Siena community as beginning at a new school can be an anxious time. We are excited that they have joined our school family.
Our intermediate girls' volleyball team coached by Mr. Rankin and intermediate boys' basketball team coached by Mr. D'Ulisse/Mr. Foshay will begin their seasons this month and run through February. Our house league soccer continues three recesses a week with approximately 40 boys and girls playing. We will also be introducing indoor games for kids in the primary/junior division during the months of January and February (more detail to follow in a future e-blast).
A few events of note coming:
Jan. 19 - New Years' Mass (@ CAT) 9:15 am...all are welcome to attend.
Jan. 24 - Rosary Apostolate Program 9:00 - 11:00 am (feel free to visit your child's class to see this program in action...please ask your child's teacher for their specific time.)
Jan. 27 - Gr.'s 3, 4 & 5 classes to "The Lion King" Georgian Theatre - Barrie
Feb. 3 - PD Day No classes for students.
Feb. 20 - Family Day - No Classes for students
Feb. 22 - 1st Term Achievement Report Cards Go Home
