Catholic School Community Council 2016 - 2017
Published on Oct 3, 2016 12:05

Good Monday Morning Everyone:

I hope this note finds you well.

Our Meet the Teacher / Pizza-Que went extremely well last Thursday evening. We had a huge turnout and an excellent opportunity to begin the year with opening the lines of communication between home and school. It was great seeing everyone. I would like to thank our parent and student volunteers who helped organize the event. It is appreciated.

On Tuesday, Oct. 4 beginning at 6:30 pm, we will have our first meeting of the Catholic School Community Council (CSCC). This body represents the views of our parent community and advises me on a number of issues throughout the year. Various events such as Pizza - Que, Santa's Breakfast and fundraising are all organized through this representative body. The Council is to meet a minimum of 4 times a year (we typically meet 8 times) approximately once a month. All are welcome to attend. If you would like to learn more about our Council, please give me a call here at school. Thanks.

Just a reminder, our monthly "paper" newsletters are no longer being made. Instead, our website and these e-blasts are the vehicles being used to share events with you (along with the student agenda and a periodic stand alone letter). Please visit our website often and encourage others to do so as well along with subscribing to these e-blasts. Thanks for your help in spreading this news to other members of our community.

Enjoy your week.
