Posted on 05/09/2018
Forty eight students from 12 Catholic Elementary Schools in Simcoe-Muskoka Catholic converged on our school to compete in a "Vex" Robotics challenge.

Students programmed their robots to be able to navigate an obstacle course and to perform specific incredible amount of problem solving and collaboration was on display from these very motivated students. Our own Sabre Cat's team did very well.

Under the direction of staff member Mr. Bruno Giuliano, our school has purchased a number of "kits" with the purpose of enlarging our Coding Club.....we look forward to entering more competitions in the coming years!
