World Autism Day

St. Catherine of Siena Celebrates
Posted on 03/31/2017
On Sunday, April 2 we celebrate World Autism Day. On Monday, April 3 we have asked our students to wear blue to help bring awareness to Autism. Having an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) means we have differences in our systems of communication, ways of socializing and behaving. Attached is a brochure which outlines these differences.

We also plan to make a donation to Kerry's Place here in Barrie from our upcoming Hot Dog days (April 6 & 13). This organization supports families who have children with Autism. Please encourage your child to wear blue this coming Monday, April 3.
