Breakfast with Santa!

A Nice Community Event
Posted on 12/12/2017
On Saturday morning, Dec. 9 over 325 members of our school community gathered at our school for a "Breakfast with Santa". Pancakes and pea meal were served! Vendors set up their wares of Christmas crafts, kids had a chance to have their picture taken with Old St. Nick and to make a gingerbread man all the while Andy Williams was singing his Christmas favourites.  A silent auction was held from the donations made by a number of our families. Monies raised through this event will be donated to a number of charitable causes.

Along with all the Christmas spirit, what makes this event so special is the level of volunteerism that went into its' organization. Council members, school staff, parents, students (past and present) and community partners such as Starbucks - who made a very generous donation of their product - all pitched in to make this event a favourite in our school community.

We believe the best way to honour Jesus' birth is to give him a present of kindness, helping out people in need and community spirit.....all of these were very evident at Santa's Breakfast.
