Santa's Breakfast a Huge Success!

Hello Everyone....
Our Santa's Breakfast held this past Saturday was a glowing success. 300 people were fed a good meal of pancakes, pea meal, juice and or coffee/hot chocolate. A number of vendors had their wares on display and our kids had a chance to decorate and then eat their very own ginger bread person! Andy Williams and Bing Crosby provided musical entertainment and of course, St. Nick visited us to listen to the kids' wish lists and to have a photograph taken. The morning flew by and fun was had by all that attended. It was a real good community event.
As always, these gatherings do not happen by accident. I would like to thank the following parents for their effort in making our Santa's Breakfast happen: Karen Couto, Barbara Mafra, Wayne Nyhuis, Laura Jean Byers, Karrie Olech, Christine Hildebrand, Karen Chang, Krista White, Taisha Twiss, Colleen Advani, Katherine Mercer, Agnes Sott Krezmien, Paul Larmand and Joe Zerdin. As well, a number of current and former St. Catherine of Siena students were here volunteering to make the event a tremendous time for all in attendance. Thank you very much to you all!
I would also like to mention Mr. Kevin O'Halloran from Starbucks....greatly appreciate his generosity in providing the coffee and hot chocolate for our breakfast.
