An Invitation from Holy Spirit

HOLY SPIRIT PARISH – 650 ESSA RD., BARRIE, ON
We invite you to celebrate the Feast of Divine Mercy on Sunday, April 28th at 2pm.
The Lord Jesus appeared to St. Faustina and requested that this feast be celebrated in the Catholic Church on the Sunday after Easter. It is the promise from our Lord of the total forgiveness of all sins and punishment for any soul that would go to Confession and receive Him in Holy Communion on this very special Feast of Divine Mercy. Fr. Tad, who is our spiritual guide and father, will lead us in a total consecration of our parish to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
It is important for our parish to do this consecration on this feast because Mary's divine role is to bring us to the fountain of Mercy, to the pure side of Christ, to his merciful heart. We invite you all to prepare yourself for this consecration by praying the novena of Divine Mercy that starts on Good Friday. Pray at home or come and join us in the chapel. You are also invited to bring your images of the Divine Mercy Jesus to place at the altar during the celebration for
a special blessing at the end. We look forward to seeing you all there!
