Good Morning Everyone....beautiful day out there.

The Social Justice Club is hosting a Halloween Dance on Wednesday, October 31st. Students are welcome to wear a costume OR dress in orange & black. Period 3: 10:15 - 10:55 GRADES 1 & 2

Period 4: 11:10 - 11:50 GRADES 3 & 4

Period 5: 11:50 - 12:30 GRADES 5 & 6

Period 6: 1:30 - 2:10 GRADES 7 & 8

Should be a fun day for all the kids. * Our next CSCC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 8 beginning at 6:30 pm. All parents are welcome. * Our St. Catherine of Siena Remembrance Day service will be held on Friday, Nov. 9 at 10:25 am in our gymnasium. All parents are welcome to join us. * Progress Reports - a report that comments on the early progress of your child - will go home on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Parent - teacher interviews are scheduled for the evening of Nov. 15 and all day on the 16th (PD day). I will send you information that will allow you to book an appointment with any of your child(ren)'s teachers online. This information and password will be sent to you on Nov. 5. * Each year we conduct a number of safety drills with our students and staff. Fire, lockdown and severe weather drills allow our students an opportunity to know what to do in any of these circumstances. Staff will spend time discussing what the expectations are for these drills with our students so that our kids will feel safe, secure and well prepared. * We will be holding a "Lockdown" drill with our students in early November. This drill will help prepare our students to be safe in case a violent intruder were to come to our school. If you have any questions about our Emergency Preparedness drills, please give me a call. * A huge thank you to our CSCC for their efforts with the "Little Caesars" pizza kit fundraiser. $1200 was raised for our school through these sales in our community...and for any of you who purchased these products - they are delicious! Have a great day... Rich
