Hello Everyone....
It's nice to have a warm late November day. Let's enjoy it!
There are a few school events coming in the next few weeks that I'd like to share with you. Here they are:
Wednesday, Nov. 29 - Barrie Colts' Pep Rally. Players from the OHL Colts will be here tomorrow for a pep rally at 9:45 am to create some enthusiasm for our upcoming school night with the Colts. Mascot "Charlie Horse" will make an appearance as well! We are encouraging all our students to wear Barrie Colts' clothing.....and if they don't have any....any hockey sweater will be fine!
We will be sending a flyer home this coming Thursday advertising "The Catherine of Siena School Night" at the Barrie Molson Centre on December 14 against Owen Sound. This is a school fundraiser. Tickets to the game will be sold for $20 with $6 dollars being returned to the school.
Sunday, Dec. 3 - @ Holy Spirit Parish - A Christmas Concert. Students from our Parish (all Parish schools) will perform music and a play. Free of charge. 3:00 pm All are Welcome!
Monday, Dec. 4 - Catholic School Community Council mtg. 6:30 pm. School library. All are welcome.
Saturday, Dec. 9 - "Santa's Breakfast" 9 - 11 am.
A good breakfast, Christmas craft for the kids, Christmas music, a picture with Santa, Vendors' selling Christmas goods.....all adds up to a great morning in our community. Please consider joining us!
Forms will come home tonight to all our families!
Thursday, Dec. 14 - Hot Day Lunch @ St. Cat's (order form coming home soon).
Thursday, Dec. 14 - St. Cat's Barrie Colts' Night @ the BMC.....7:30 pm (see above)
Thursday, Dec. 21 - St. Cat's Advent Mass @ Holy Spirit 10:30 am. All our students will be bussed to Holy Spirit for this Mass. Please join us.
Friday, Dec. 22 - Last day of classes for the kids prior to Christmas holidays. Classes reconvene on Monday, Jan. 8, 2018.
