Students Learn About Ways to Help Our Wildlife

The Earth Rangers School Assembly Program is a dynamic, fun and interactive presentation for students in grades 1-6. The program was a high quality, curriculum-linked assembly, which uses positive, science-based information to educate students about the importance of protecting biodiversity, while highlighting a variety of conservation initiatives across Canada. Our students were treated to the power of live animal demonstrations including a visit from a fox, skunk, falcon and a Midland turtle. The presentation also featured an exciting trivia challenge led by Mrs. Van Wolde and Mrs. Yellowage with audience participation! The program inspired our students and hopefully will motivate them to become actively involved in protecting our wildlife and the environment.
